INTRODUCTION
AS A SENIOR IN 2018: With a 2018 team record of 8-and-1 (NESCAC Champions) and 44 TD’s scored, Trinity didn't require more than 8 FG attempts. Sachse connected successfully on 7 of those attempts, which included a long of 50-yards and the only miss coming off of a blocked kick. In less than 4 full seasons at Trinity, he was able to break 4 NESCAC League and 7 Trinity College records . In addition, he currently ranks 4th on Trinity's all-time "points scored" list.
AS A JUNIOR IN 2017: Sachse repeated as the the All-NESCAC First Team Kicker after ranking second in the league among kickers in scoring with 56 points and posting a conference-best 35 PAT's . He completed the season with 7 FG's, including a career long 46-yarder.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2016: After a Medical Hardship season in 2015, Sachse established himself as the premier NESCAC kicker by breaking 3 league records and earning numerous awards/honors. He finished the NESCAC's 8-game season ranked No. 1 in the Nation (all Divisions) in "FG and PAT Percentage" (100% on 50-for-50 combined FG's and PAT's), No. 2 in the Nation (DIII) in "FG's per Game" (1.63 FG PG) and No. 13 in the Nation (DIII) in "Points Per Game Scoring" (10.3 PPG).
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2015: Sachse suffered an in-game season-ending injury and was granted a Medical Hardship waiver, allowing him to retain a year of eligibility.
PRIOR TO TRINITY: Sachse attended Worcester Academy (Worcester, Massachusetts), where he was a member of the Varsity Football, Hockey and Baseball teams. He captained the baseball team his senior year and earned NEPSAC All-Conference honors as a kicker in football and as a pitcher in baseball. After graduation, he spent a post-graduate year in residency at Cheshire Academy (Cheshire, Connecticut), where he received additional athletic honors in baseball (i.e.: Western New England's Co-Player of the Year).
