AS A FRESHMAN IN 2015: Sachse suffered an in-game season-ending injury and was granted a Medical Hardship waiver, allowing him to retain a year of eligibility.

PRIOR TO TRINITY: Sachse attended Worcester Academy (Worcester, Massachusetts), where he was a member of the Varsity Football, Hockey and Baseball teams. He captained the baseball team his senior year and earned NEPSAC All-Conference honors as a kicker in football and as a pitcher in baseball.
